93 accord losing all vacuum to EGR valve during acceleration

With egr vacuum hose #16 connected to egr valve it no longer stalls just idles hard like idle needs to be turned up. But if I turn idle up too high then it goes into the dreadful Honda loping idle up and down until I turn idle back down but without egr idles really great but with egr connected it idles like its missing. Forgot to add I jave two major leaks in the exhaust could too much backpressure mess with the egr system and overall idle and fuel economy?

Idles better at both driving and idling during the night hours I was thinking what aboit a air charge temp sensor. What are the symptoms and I beloved mine is original
