you mean instead of lifting up? It wont like that, but unless you pull real hard, it probably would hurt anything. Truth is, from the outside, there isnt much to pull on, there is just a little button on the top. I guess if you really wanted to mess it up, you could push hard from the outside, but I think anyone already inside the car would realize that the doors dont open that way. And as soon as you lift the handle from the inside, the door starts to go up. It would be a little hard to confuse it. However, and this is a question for other diablo owners, my door doesnt go up by its own, which is the way i think its supposed to be. Does anyone know of a replacement actuator cylinder that would have enough push to do it on its own?

I noticed in the summer my doors go up on their own.....in the winter they do not...I think its when the gasses in the cylinder are hotter... it gives them more power...it also happens with the rear engine cover on my 355

Sometimes if I try and open my roadster doors to quickly before the window drops down.. then the doors can jam..I am not keen on pulling the window towards you method...so I usually open the other door up then loosen the roof a little...then you can open the door up...but sometimes you need to do a little of everything to un-jam it...damn annoying when it happens though...
