I have to go with the zc. But it really depends on what you both have done. you say it doesn't matter so I am going with the zc if you both have the same mods. It not only has more tq, but it is dohc. This is just my opinion and I know I might be wrong but I am going witht he zc. I love that engine. Also our of curiousity what does each car have done to them?

If you read, I said I believe he is running the Si tranny, that would not be a ZC tranny, but Si. I didn't mention before but I am about 95% sure he is running Si ECU. AND...if the Si header won't bolt up correctly to the ZC, WHICH IT WON'T, then that is a flow RESTRICTION and that will hurt power, not improve upon it. OWNED!!!!
hehe, well put.

First of all amy, I have raced an Y8... With my A6 and won! What up now biatch!?
Seondly if you look at a JDM SI it has a dual exaust setup Idiots..
Thirdly of all, the ZC makes more HP and TQ... Real fucking idiots.
Fourthly I have actualy worked on engines and built them for performance... Anyone in here ever built an engine that makes 900 ft lbs of tq? I have...

Well for someone of your high knowledge of engines (an I assume you know your shit cause it really sounds like you do) to say that the ZC has dual exhaust outlets when it doesnt ....

--> you <-- me

I'd just like to add that the ZC horsepower ratings are not accurate. There are many different numbers floating around. I've seen engine buliders quote the ZC @ 125hp all the way up to 135hp.

I do not know the exact hp ratings but would the reason why the hp ratings are difernt is because they could be using a diferent ecu? Like say you use the si ecu you will not have as much power as if you use the zc ecu.

yea, it is funny as hell! Unfortunatly if you look at the underside of the JDM SI, you will see that it has two 1" pipes that go from the soposeable "4-2-1" header all the way to the two exaust tips.

So, you're sayin that it goes from its 4-2-1 header, to a cat, then goes into 2 inch pipes all the way back?
