It should be according to me, as it is "BP Ultimate Green" on both cars.

I got a Citadel color that match that green, I think I'll use it if Renaissance supply a green not convincing me.

The blue may also be found without too many problems if it's really too light as pictures show it.

Re: New from Renaissance

@Geronimo77

Sadly, Renaissance won't release a decalsheet with the Stobart-livery.
I would like to build Gigi Galli's Focus and asked if and when Renaissance would release the Stobart livery.

But the answer I received from Renaissance was the following:
Quote:
"Pa contre je ne pense pas faire les Stobart car les decals de ces versions coutent tres cher car beaucoup de couleurs...."

Or, if my limited knowledge of French doesn't deceive me, there are too many colours (dissolving into each other) in this livery... Sadly.

Steven from Domino can confirm this (as I asked him already in 2008).

I will buy this kit (without decals) and try to make the decals myself

Re: New from Renaissance

In fact he says he isn't planing to do this decals because they would be very expensive given that there are many different colors, no mention about dissolving into each other.

What use to buy from Singapore when you can probably order it in France?

You're right Phil. I worked as an official on this year's Rally Australia & was quite lucky to get VERY close to the cars. The blue is much darker than shown & deeper/richer in colour. Can't remember if it had a metallic fleck through it or not - as we were working we weren't allowed to take a lot of pics . The BP Green is also very bright close up.

Re: New from Renaissance

That's a fantastic build up from that French forum, but the green and the blue look 'off' compared to pictures of the real car... Maybe it's the light..??

Re: New from Renaissance

In fact, all the colors above are false !!
In reality blue is deeper, more intense... Red is darker, almost brown-like under some sights... And the green is... "greener" than this "bird-shit" yellow-green... (maybe clear coat made it appear so ugly)

Re: New from Renaissance

Standing about a foot away from the cars as they entered the final time control on Sunday to form up for the finish ramp, the red is almost 'Italian Red' in terms of darkness. And whilst I think of it, if anyone thinks they need to replace the front 'grille' where the Ford badge is with some screen - don't. It does change from rally to rally, but by & large, this is a plastic insert that LOOKS like a screen

Just didn't want to put it so bluntly myself though
