This administration is doing a very good job. The fact that a white male has held office does not mean that it will always be that way. I expect that Powell will be our first non white male president (if he chooses to enter). Given someone with enough character and backbone to stand up for what they believe, they'll be elected to high office.
As for the earlier WASP comment. Kennedy was not a WASP. Close but he was not Protestant - he was Catholic. But other then that, I think the other 42 have been.
