Body and wheels look good, but 4 hours for the seatbelts on one side?

I donīt think that metal seatbelts have any advantages, I wonīt even test them.

Maybe you should bend them down in the area of the rear seat, their upward-moving is unrealistic.

maybe 4 hours is a bit overdone, the second seatbelt I made was made in half an hour because now I know how it's made. The first was was hard because it was my first time, and the instructionguide is not good.

I sprayed them flat black. After installing it, I tipped the areas where the paint was damaged again with some flat black.

Re: Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R C-West

Today I completed the interior.

First the dashboard. I added a spare decal for the navigation and speedtacho etc.
I also added PE MOMO footpedals. They look very nice and are exactly like the real ones. (I have them in my own car...)

I also made the second seatbelt. This time much faster because I know how it's made now
I also got some decals from Sparco. I added them and painted some flat clear over it.

The body is also almost finished. I only have to glue the windows.

Kris.

Re: Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R C-West

Another update

First I finished the PE brakes. I found some bigger calipers in my sparebox and used them.
I also modified the wheels inside for fitting the brakes.

Than I started with the chassis. Everything was already painted a while ago, so it was easy assembly. I also made new adapters for the wheels. Now they have some negative camber. I also wheatered the chassis a bit. The diffusor can't be placed before the exhaust is placed, and the exhaust will be placed when the body and chassis are maried

The body is also finished. I had a lot of problems with the frontbumper of course. And the headlights are also a pain in the ass to fit.

here's a list with the things I did:

- all lights are placed
- mesh in the frontbumper
- painted the windowtrims
- painted the windows and glued them in the body
- spoiler is placed
- wipers installed
- sidemirrors placed

And this is what's left over:

Meanwhile it's already finished but I'll wait with the pictures till next week.

Kris.

Dark car and white wheels - looks cool.

Seat belts are wrong: The "Sparco" shoulder upholstery must sit above the hardware - see here http://www.weapon-r.com/english/images/829-116-102.jpg
