How about everyone come to VIR, I might have a chance there, especially when the ls1 goes in!
Or how about Roebling, its about halfway

Re: Wheel rotational weight impact on performance

Damn I make a comment to a Friend in need and all of a sudden I get thrown under the bus. Where did the Miata comment come from.

Eric

I vote for Roebling as well. Brians big hp will not be as big a factor there.

Darkside will be the first weekend in May

If you start now I think you can make the Roebling event.

Some of us may be coming to New Zealand for more than just racing.

David, Pomroy is vicious. I could do Roebling. Bob Gassie and I went to Homestead last weekend and really liked that place. We'll be back for sure. Too bad it's south of Cuba.

Re: Wheel rotational weight impact on performance

Ya I know, sometimes children will be children. Homestead would be 13 to 14 hours for me. I could do Mid-Ohio for that kind of travel time. Thats a cool place.

I signed up for Roebling who else is going. (no Pomroys allowed)

Roebling is 500mi. away from me....what else?
Homestead is 1.5hrs
Sebring is 2.5hrs
Daytona is 3.5 hrs

in my book its not hp its SETUP, skill, and hp in that order.....and whats a measly 500fwhp got anything to do with it

Re: Wheel rotational weight impact on performance

Brian,

Roebling 1.45
CMP 1.45
RA 2.00
VIR 4.00

At Roebling hp mean nothing from entering turn 3 to exit turn 7. I almost agree with you skill, setup,hp

Re: Wheel rotational weight impact on performance

Skill, setup, hp. I think I'm a little lacking in most of those. I can thumb wrestle like a mutha though. You pussy's are going down.

Are you sure the Darkside allows more then one real racecar on the track at the same time? You can expect that you will need to follow at least 2 slow P cars from turn 2-7 every lap. They do have the bbq thing goin on.

Wassup with all the horsepower upgrades?? Ok David, man pact here. No HP upgrades allowed. Head to head with the engine as delivered from PAD. I think I cab make up that .3 seconds at Roebling and you can make excuses for not coming to Sebring anymore.

Re: Wheel rotational weight impact on performance

I think it's more skillz, ballz, setup, hp.

I know some very good drivers, who can do all the right things, but just don't want to push the car as hard as they should, even though they can!
