Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione Monte Shell (Tamiya, 1/24)
Very impressive work.
You have a great eye for detail. Your work on the engine is really first class. And don't worry about your english. I would not have known you were from Russia if you hadn't mentioned it. So please, tell us more of what you do, because, like has been said before, there's a lot to be learned from your build. Looking forward to the next update ! |

Re: Ferrari F40 Competizione Monte Shell (Tamiya, 1/24)
For the brake discs I used etched. Since I have two sets of etched, I thought as a make ventilated discs. To do this, the original disc, I cut in half, with both sides glue it etching, and the gap fill with strips of plastic. Later the show that turned out.

Progress on the engine. Joined intake / exhaust system. Added wiring, I think you can see in photos. The red arrows show the missing elements. The blue arrows show the location where you'd like toning.

Great stuff.
Unbelievable, there you go on sunday evenings to have a small look into the forum and then I discover yet another different approach to total detailing. Robert

Nice detailing on the brake rotors! I will have to try that myself when an opportunity comes along.
