does anyone else think the a$$ of that car looks like a cadillac???

That gearstick looks hideous! I'm sure Maisto wouldn't make the mistake of producing it like that. I hope that's the prototype.

I am pretty sure it is just the prototype, but I wouldn't be so sure that Maisto wouldn't put something like this in production. They have done worse things...

True, but not of recent times. The Carrera GT is pretty flawless for a budget model. And it sure doesn't have anything that bad in it. Although I'm quite sure Maisto know that if they produce it with a gearlever that size, it will put ALOT of people off buying it

yea, i bought that model...i was supprised at the quality too.

but then the clk dtm model is excellent too, maisto seem to have got their act together recently

I wouldn't call them blatently obvious things. The gearstick obviously is, but most mistakes I've noticed haven't been obvious. It is really the overall quality and detail of many of their models. However, I would say that they are worth their price.

I got the model yesterday and posted pics.
the gear lever IS still big. however it is made up for with a actually pretty good quality model overall. not auto art certainly, and not quite Carrera GT standards but still worth the price IMO.
