Wow, the infamous Single vs. Twin Turbo debate:
Depends on what you wanna do with the car really. You can get crazy hp numbers from a single. They are, for the most part, cheaper than an aftermarket twin setup. They typically spool faster. And really, in all reality, they are a lot of fun to drive, which is the whole purpose anyways.

yes
yes a twin is better then a single, cuz it eliminates turbo lag... turbo lag is when the engine is like a cow until the turbo gets going, making the accel shit. To prevent this you can have 2 turbos, one small and one big, where the small one is used for acceleration, since it doesnt take much to start moving, and the big one then has time to get up to speed.

Here we go again another twin turbo vs. single turbo debate. Just so you don't look like an idiot in front of anyone, i'll shorten this. Number one, it depends on what car. Number two, it depends on what setup like inline 6 or v6. Number 3, they can make about the same horsepower depending on what car. Number 4, they both have lag, whether twin's have less is irrelevant, with nitrous you won't care about lag. Number 5, the size of the turbo(s) depends on lag and horsepower. It really boils down to what car you mean.

okay here we go again...
first off...the twins are the same size..but as per the mechanism of sequential turbos...the 2nd turbo isnt allowed to introduce air into the intake stream...then when it comes on...it allows a 2nd surge of air coming in doubling the air and therefore adding power however...the stock turbos are disgustingly small ct-25 from the factory... some small single turbos will actually spool before the 2nd turbo comes online. Single, large turbos allow you to run much higher boost more efficiently as well as increase spool rate (for small ones) look into the sp57 if youre looking for quick spool. even as one of the smallest single turbos put on a supra...it is better than the twin setup, even in TTC mode |

Max crazy power will always be made with two huge turbos over one huge one. Look at all the RH9 GTR's, they all use twin turbos, usually GT3540's or GT3240's.

That movie is soooooooooooooo stupid, it truly was an insult to the Supra when it took place in that movie, it really didn't belong, that movie is for rice burners! Real cars like the Supra don't belong, and the second one 2slow2ugly, those *bleep* go and wreck 3 Supras just to makes sure their movie is "good enough" so that the dumb ricers will believe that's what really happens. THOSE EVIL MOVIE PRODUCERS!

I think it is a waste of cars... with cars like the supra discontinued, we cant afford to be ricing them out and then trashing them

veilside is ghey...especially that piece of trash wing moreso even the cheap knockoffs that yours probably is also, those light covers are the gayest "lids" ive ever seen...on any car. they distract from one of the major components of the supra im going to take a wild guess by what you said... thats not really your car is it....... |

Yeah exactly, mAX crazy power isnt about usability, its about power.
The GTR's with twin 3540's only have 3 cylinders running each one. ~1500RWHP too. A T88H-34D is never gonna make 1500RWHP! |

The supra driven by paul walker in teh first movie owns the one in the second movie, the first movie is a 1994 700 HP twin turbo (2JZ-GTE) and the second moive has a 1995 650 2JZ-GTE wihioch they mutated and turned from a twin turbo into a GReddy big ass single turbo and that alone gives it like 250 frikin HP!!! the aluminium GT wing of the orange supra is way beter than the TRD S-type spoiler on the second movies car... the Orange one wins hands down man ... what do you guys think?
