I'm also casting the wheels these days, especially the rear ones I find a bit too deep... Did you notice (or do you think) that too ?

I intend to maybe build the Safari version I started over a Bburago model years ago so I will need to remake front wheels (no deep spokes) and rear wheels (deep spokes but according to me less than the Gass ones) starting from the cast of the kit's rear ones.
Yes Phil, painting the blue is necessary. I had Rothmann blue as a basic colour from automobilminiaturen.de, probably not available at the moment. Concerning the rear wheels IŽll take new insert also from autominiaturen.
The safari issue is also great, decals are in the kit, but you also need different tires and have to scratch some parts
