i was thinking the same thing. seems like another case of shitty driver (911) v good driver (rs4). unless the audi had some very considerable mods done i don't think it could beat the 911.

not to imply you were lying thaa, so don't take offense it just seems that w/ decent driving the porsche would blow the audi's doors off (although i do like the rs4 very much).

Best Race

The best race I've seen yet...An Eclipse RSX (Super-mod) and a pretty-much stock RX-7. The Eclipse beat the daylights out of the RX-7. It kind of disappointed me, but it was still fun to watch, and try to stay caught up.

The best race I have witnessed I was involved in! It was about 3:30 or 4:00 in the morning. I'm headed home on Gate parkway(business park area) they are doing a lot of construction so the it is fairly open and has nice windy roads. I see some tail lights I recognize it's a frikin' S2000! It is some middle aged guy driving so I go to pass hoping to enduce a race...and...there we go...no one won, no won lost we were together the whole way we hit speeds up to 115 on these back roads! Talk about an adrenaline rush! I still cannot put it in words! His car was not all stock, I think he had at least a cat-back system. Holy Shit it was great! i would have loved to have been watching from the roadside just to hear the engines and exhaust!

:badass:

I was in a town close to mine watching the illegal street races out in the middle of nowhere......and I saw a Honda Civic Type-R beat a Mustang 5.0 H.O. by a carlength!! They went for a 1/4.....I was shocked that the Type-R won!!!

It would have to be one that I was in.

It was about 11:30 at night and I was headed down main street back to my friend’s house in my 65' Cuda. We are waiting at the light as this silver Dodge Challenger pulls up next to me. The sounds from his exaust totaly drown mine out, and my Cuda is pretty damn loud. Well I look over at his car and he revs the engine pretty good and the car was rocking pretty good. On his hood was a 340 badge, all I could think was, bullshit. Well I know I am going to loose but I want to see how badly. So I bring em' up and the light turns green. I laid it down and took off. I planted it pretty good, one of the best launches I have gotten in that car. No matter, he left as if I weren't even moving; his tires smoked each time he shifted. But I already had her open so I kept at it. I caught back up to him and told him to pull over. He got out of his car and I got out and said 340 my ass. He laughed and opened the hood to reveal a 528 Hemi with twin superchargers on it, that was the only noticeable thing I could see but he told me there were other things as well. Also he had the body replaced with a lighter identical body that was made of some alloy, still supportive but lighter than hell. He then wanted to see what I was running. I laughed and said alright. After checking it out he said it was a killer car for only having a 340. He thought it was at least a 360 or 383 bored over at least.

All I can say is what a damn sweet ride.

I have had a few good races with my car. Shocked a few people

ZR-1 Vet I raced when I just finished the motor and I was running 12PSI of boost and my cam sprockets where off a tooth (don't put a motor together late at night when your tired) We raced from a stop light to about 90 MPH and I got him by about 1/2 car lenth.

One evening on the way home from Newport Beach geting on the 55 Freeway I was reving on a 2001 911 Turbo geting on the freeway and he took off and I took off in hot persute starting at about 65 MPH and pulled by him at about 120 MPH and pulled to about 2 car lenths on him by 150 MPH then I preseeded to slow down at the same time I rolled down the window and gave him a BIG THUMBS DOWN.. I am an asshole like that...

I even suprised a group of 3 guys on street bikes 2 750. and a 900 something or another I was trying to pay atention where I was going at a rapid pace.

The coolest and most unbelievable race i witnessed was a old crapy truck against a possible 9 or 10 sec supra...

My friends and I went to the track and was chilling betting on which car will kill which car. Then the race with the supra and truck came up...we said that the supra will kill that crapy looking truck...as soon as the light hit they went at it...
Zooming by wasnt the supra it was that truck...to my amazement it hit 9.02 sec...all of our mouths drop saying wtf....
i will never underestimate any car any more............and if you see a white old truck watch out.......................

Yeah, one night at the local track in Phoenix I watched a stock looking huge late 80's or early 90's ford truck (i think it was a big f250 or f350) run a 10 or 11 second quarter mile. All i could see were different looking rear tires (slicks?) and when we saw the truck run, we were all shocked!

best race i ever chased..........

Here's one for the books people.

Stopped at a red light behind a Z06 vette, and on the right, up rolls a
Testarosa (ferrari), and on the left a Buick Grand National. this is a 3 lane road
by the way, and i'm in my Pontiac.

Well, you can imagine the engines roaring!!!

Light turns green and the Corvette is the leader, with the Buick right behind it. The
Ferrari burnt out for a second, which put it into 3rd. I'm power shifting my 3 speed
automatic to keep up (haha, yeah right).

But unfortuneately i got left behind, i just didn't have the start speed to try.

But i'm watching the tail lights go, and the Ferrari had lost from the start of things,
so i wasn't even looking at it get it's ass kicked. But the Buick and the Z06 were
soaring, until i saw the Z06 cut infront of the Buick.

It was so close it wasn't even funny!

To the driver of the Ferrari: you suck!

To the driver of the Z06: :ylsuper nicely done!

To the driver of the Grand National: What's the numbers on your car??? :frog:

Peace. :sun:

Angry 95 Supra vS CBR 900

this one was great.. we were in NYC , and these 2 guys were arguing about who can win.. the dude with the supra and the dude with CBR bike. so we decided that only one way to find out.. then went for it!!! so they decided to race for $500.. i was like.. i'm going can't miss this. so we went to the belt parkway in QNZS NY. mad turns and open, at night. the race was on... from exit to the next exit.. at first the bike was gone. the guy in the supra.. held back and gave the bike some room.. all of a sudden the turbo started whistle...NOS started to flow..supra was coming.. passed the bike like it was standing still.. afterwards they gave up the loot. and shook hands.. ( a fight would have been nice to watch aswell ) hehehe..nice clean fun/ WOW>. made me even sweat.

Cool My lil race story

Drivin down Dam Neck Road and I get behind this Proge that has the gt tag on it. I look over at my other 3 passengers and say why not. I pull up next to the probe when the right lane cleared. Drop my G into 2 (auto tranny) and proceed to taunt the Probe. I thought for sure he was going to tear me a new one especially with three passengers. As I roll my window down I hear him drop gears to take me. I think nope to myself and just drop the accelerator to the floor. We were averaging 65 till he downshifted, we quickly ran up to 80 (I had to put it in drive but kept overdrive off). To my amazement I started to pull on the Probe. We hit a red light at london bridge ext. I pull up next to the Prob (this time left side) and realize that I was the brother of one of my old friends. We give each other the thumbs up and he proceeds to the Mall from the front entrance. And I took my (now pasty white) passengers back to my friends house.
