I'm going to try to post some pictures. (Well...what do you know....it worked!)
Dan This is the old gasket a closeup of the failure area.  Another shot of the failure area but also showing coolant that drained in to the oil galary which will and did make it to the oil pan. Thus an oil change was needed.

pretty obvious what happened there eh? Man that's a horror movie!!
About how long did the whole job take you Dan? Also, have you divulged the type of scanner you're using? I think previously you mentioned a snap on model? Piper

The scanner is a SnapOn MT2500. It's great. I can read ABS, Airbag, and trannie codes with it. Dan
