That wasn't me... I've never had my posts increased. Each one was hand typed. Only an Admin can change post counts, Igor increased one of the Mods to over 200,000 posts one year for his birthday... you'll see him around some time with 200k+ posts. I forget who it was. It was a joke at the time, but they just left it.

Re: Hello from 2005
Taking a look at this list of people makes me think that this side of the forums really were pretty busy back a few years ago. You literally could hop on and see new posts every minute.
Those were the times... |

Re: Hello from 2005
^^Haha I remember that. Especially in the evening, you could hit refresh and have a pretty good chance that someone posted something new. Now, sometimes the racing section won't see any action for a whole day at a time.
And BTW, GTmike400 or something was the mods name.

Re: Hello from 2005
there was a guy on the 3/s forums, damn it i forget his name. an aussie with a ralliart mitsubishi gto. i haven't heard him in a year or so. kinda makes you wonder what happens to these guys/gals who are on here for a couple years then just vanish
there was also hot3000, she got sideswiped in her 3000gt, then a tree branch smashed through the rear hatch glass in a storm, never did her TT conversion. bought a ford mustang, which repeditly broke down on her, her bf then went and got her an 06(?) honda civic. everyone over in the porsche section same with the vector(no1 ever stayed, cept me). me i started with a 79 porsche 924, a 95 dodge neon, and a 92 dodge stealth tt. now i have a 92 dodge stealth tt(though haven't driven it in a yr), and an 87 porsche 944. i came in for info on the stealth, have ended up with, geez, a girlfriend(over now), laughs, and outright fun, and some important auto info along the way. and of course my bickering with sl3000 over proper english on the internet. guess what i'm still not really caring. o few others: slade781(3000gt), hotshot8792(94 vr4), mistermoonpie(3000gt), mikevr4(sold his 93 vr4), linebckr49(93 3000gt sl)

Re: Hello from 2005
I remember a lot of guys on that list. It was fun when things were active around here. You really could post and hit refresh and have a new post or even a comment to the post you just hit up. I miss those days. They made work so much easier to bear. Now I have to find something else to do....
If anyone cares I started out back in 06 with intentions of working on the Maxima and making a crazy sleeper. Now I'm investing most of my money in my 300zxTT.
