Looks good but you should really start your own thread for this rather than hijack this one with that many photographs! And what is with the lizard thing on the bonnet?

That's ok. I didn't realise that about the symbol! Presumably it was chosen because lizards can go just about anywhere!

Thanks, I separated the 2 rear lights from the horizontal strip which was cracked. I then used some reasonably thick clear plastic carefully cut to the right size. I applied bare metal foil to the rear and then sprayed with clear red. Unfortunately I lost the 'Coupe' lettering that was moulded into the original part but it was the best I could do!

Re: 1980 Audi Quattro - Restoration Project

I have finally added the decals that I received from TSiSS350 about a year ago! (many thanks Brad!). I used a bit of Microset on the drivers side door Audi 4 rings logo and the elderly decals obviously did not like it! They started to fall apart but I managed to sort of rescue them. Didn't use the Microset for the remainder and they went on fine. Sorry it took me so long to add them Brad. Once again thanks for your generosity in sending them over the pond! Hope you like the result!

Re: 1980 Audi Quattro - Restoration Project

The decals really finish it off. I seem to remember that the real cars had wheels in a slightly different colour, slightly more gold. Resto jobs sound interesting, there's plenty I could do, but although they're finish isn't great they have a certain nostalgia, and anyway I've got enough in the box to do!
