Oh, was he the one who added a Sat Nav screen and a 100GB MP3 player?

I've always thought of flemke's changes as enhancements myself, but perhaps I've just had an overdose of the flemke Kool-Aid after all these years.

He is a brave and determined individual though, I will say that.

I think having a car signed by a famous owner might be of value if they were the original owner and had thoughtfully spec'd the car to suit their tastes. Harrison is the only one that comes to mind under those qualifications.

Jay Leno is a pretty famous guy around these parts but I don't know that there would be a huge benefit to having his autograph on his F1. I also suspect that's not something he'd ever do. He bought it as it sits anyway - perhaps he was 100% pleased with the look and felt it needed no changes or more likely he's wired for originality whenever possible.

If I had a GTR that was raced by a famous star it might be cool to track them down and get a signature. Drawing from memory I think #06R has Derek Bell's - that makes a lot of sense and is fairly common practice in the automotive world.

....depending on your point of view, of course....Some may appreciate the enhancements, some may feels it's devalued, some may not mind either way

Me, I don't mind either way; I admire the effort involved, appreciate the work and thinking behnd the changes and I'm excited about the end product

I still reckon grey / near black (7.5 to 8 out of 10, with 10 being black) with black wheels would have been a better choice. A bit like #069 but with high mirrors, non metallic paint and a few shades lighter - much like this Gallardo

Do you reckon the may be some other GTR's that have had Gordon's signature added to it?

Re: Cars with Gordon Murrays Signature

It is somehow possible that all the F1s feature Gordon Murray's signature, as suggested in this website?
"To complete the astonishing achievement Gordon Murray himself has hand-signed this supercar on the carbon fibre area in between the chassis plate and the gear stick in silver permanent marker"

Hello

That text specifically refers to chassis #073; not to all F1's
