Oh, arnt laquer paints for RC cars, cuz there clear or something? Cuz i sprayed one of my models with laquer paint i think and it came out like translucent. But i dont know if laquer is the paint i used but im not sure. And anyways how do u empty a spray can? Wont it explode or something?

the paint u normally use on RC cars is polycarbonate(i think) because it is flexible, if ur paint job came out translucent then u have to put on more layers of paint, and what i meant by emptying the can was basically spraying the cans contents into a jar or something, i know i saw a type of HOW TO on this but dont remember where, maybe someone remembers:alien2:

It was Tamiya Acrylic Paint. It is like $3 a bottle at a local hobby shop. I used tamiya airbrush thinner. DO NOT use anything else but Tmaiya airbrush thinner. Also Tamiya paint is VERY thin I mix it 1% thinner 9% paint.

hey shorty I havent had ANy problem with paint chipping off on any of my models. it gives a good finish if you get into practice with an airbrush, not much. Just as with all paints dont apply too much paint in the first coat. I will be happy to answer any more questions.
BaNe Btw dont you think it is wierd that my local hobby shop carries tamiya acrylic in a bottle and no tamiya rattle cans? |
