The difference is only 20hp and with the exhaust en CAI even less, so it makes sence.

first, is the ZC just a "drop in" into the hatch? or do you need to do some modding? like buy an engine mount kit? and second, what kind of car do you get the ZC out of? i think i saw one in a prelude today at the J/Y but it most likely wasnt one lol couldnt see the engine code cuz there was too much crap on the engine so thats why I wanted 2 know what cars you get them from

You can get NEW JDM parts?! I dont even know if honda makes these parts anymore....
But I hope to get the valve cover... Its going to have to be shiped here from the UK... = Expensive! Pluss im pretty sure honda would still suply Rover with the new parts...

The motor will just drop straight in on your current mounts. Buying new stock mounts is a good idea since the ones in there are probably not in the best of condition It comes out of the civic crx in japan. There is a brown valve cover on the D16A1 which came out of an integra (You dont want this for a 88-91 they wont fit in anything but a 84-87) There was also one from japan that was in an integra but I think it has the same mounts... DO NOT GET THE BROWN TOP!

Oh... I talked to him at monument parts store this morning, with the 65 shot of nitrous he is safly getting 182 Whp and 164 ft lbs tq! Thats one badass ZC! He's been runing it for two weeks EVERY DAY! I want to see what he has to say in a few months... Then I'll decide if I want nos.

oh no, just i wanna drive around with my D15 for awhile but once i get the 500 i'm gonna buy one prolly and rebuild it which might take 2 years lol, just 2 save enuf cash unless i can find a decent paying job around here. but i also gotta save for insurance, tires, e-test, safety, and liscensing lol, granted its not much 2 pay but when u work one night a week for 4 or 5 hours, its pretty hard to afford stuff, thats why i'm lookin for a new job lol

Yep! You need a new jobie! I make about $2000 US a month. I pay between $500-1000 depending on the month in bill's and smokes and crap... So I usualy got like $1000-1500 a month to play around with but I bust my ass @ work!
I'll let you know how much I end up spending and how much HP I get... If its not worth it I'll let you know.

alright, yea man lemme know what you do to it and how much stuff cost for you. i wanna try and get atleast close to a grand a month (canadian) while still going to school, once i graduate and get an apprenticeship i think things will be going alot better too

NO WAY! me and a heap of my mates were messing about with a video camera last nite and were doin sprints down a private road.... i raced some guy in his civic vtec and creamed him, from 0-115mph i led all the way sweet! i was planning going vtec but after that think ill just stick with what i got and put the turbo on it that ive got in the boot

All I know is I am having anxiety attacks in waiting for my ZC to be done. Im doin it right thoe. No expensive fuckups. Im importing NEW XC parts from japan! Im getting a TODA TIMING BELT shiped for $100! Thats a lot for at timing belt... But I have seen the toda ones and they are tuff as nails. Pluss its like an extra $20 for shiping which isnt too bad from japan. You cant find any real ZC aftermarket parts out here.

The only thing i can find for the zc is exhausts and air filters!! ive seen cams in a magazine but just said 'honda 16v' pretty vague! everything i find on the net is from US or Germany so not only do i need to save for the bits but the stupid shipping charge too
