Re: Toyota Supra

After a bussy period, I tryed to do some work on the Supra last days.

First I painted the chassis flat black.
Now I can paint the engineroom and put the engine in it.

I also lowered the suspension. In fact I placed the discbrakes higher in the wheelbay Simple but effective

You can see the exhaust hanging on the pics. I made a custom exhaust because the original looks like nothing. I also weatherd the exhaust and also the chassis.

And some dryfit photo's

Now it's time to finish the body and start working on the interior.

Kris.

Re: Toyota Supra

Looking good but I'd have gone with PE brakes. Those kit parts look too plain/plastic and seem to take away from the "realism factor"

Re: Toyota Supra

I just finished the interior.

I used brown/creme for the main colours. Black interiorflocking for the carpet and thrunk.

I used a radiofront, sportsteeringwheel and some PE Sparco pedals from CrazyModeller.

I also completed the whole car So watch the completed section for the final pics.

Re: Toyota Supra

Great work so far - will have to go to the completed section right now. I think this Supra would have to be one of Tamiya's best ever kits, and you have done it justice.
