Not all customs are meant to be wierd. People make customs to look good, or look mean. Some do look wierd but true customs look unique. So you couldn't really classify them as any above. I meant matching pair as in all cars matched, paint, wheels etc. I thought that would look better then some tripped out truck. That paint is really nice though.

It's odd but cool looking. I would have never dreamt of mixing a beetle with an F150, very creative. Where did you get those wheels from? I use to have the Budnik Trilogys on my truck. I have a model of a Chevy Silverado that I started working on like 2 years ago and if I ever get around to it, I may want to add those wheels. The F150 Beetle is ingenious, lets see some more creative ideas.

that looks a lot like the chevy ssr pickup/roadster. the wheel well flares are more exagerated on this, and the retro styling isnt there, but other than those subtle differences, i see a lot of similarity.

Talking Thanks for him

Hi,

thanks for all. I've translated all your comments and sent it to my friend (he is french). He is very happy that you appreciated his work.

To answer some questions:

TexasF355F1: The Budnik wheels are scratchbuilt.

Integra14: Yes, it's diecast but he used 2 cars to do 1. You'll never find one like this in shops.

rlobo71: I've done this for you Flaming "How to"
Cool to find an other VW-vintage lover. My '62 beetle is now in restauration too.

Deedlit
