Thank you Syndicate, you actually said that so very well :-)

Shorty, are you ysing FOTW's tutorial to make these intercoolers too?
I wouldn't be surprised if you are....

EDIT: Shorty, you may want to learn to spell too if you want to be taken seriously

Short you need to stop in your tracks, turn around, and go back to getting better at modeling. You may not realize it now, but running any business requires more than envelopes, stamps, and supplies.

I'd like to flame you more but I can't seem to find any words to express my anger towards what you're doing.

Was it really necessary to rip this guy's ass wide apart like this? If you don't like it then dont buy it. A little competition, albeit in this case a little j/k, is a good thing for this hobby. When FOTW feels the heat from shorty's business, he'll make even better parts, and shorty will make items of equal/lesser quality and the cycle of improvement will continue.

he can stay open if he so feels it. let the lazy idiots waste their money on his items. meanwhile, i'll build my own with alot more satisfaction. why are we even dragging FOTW into this mess? he put that tutorial up there for the purpose of letting people build their own. Shorty probably shouldn't be using it for his profit though...but i digress.

Shorty - stay open if you want. i personally think it's a dumb idea, as you most likely won't make much business (save for other's just like yourself), especially at the prices you're charging. all of the items on your list, i can make myself for ALOT less then you're charging.

freelunch - we're entitled to our opinions...so yes, it was necessary.

For some odd reason I don't think FOTW has anything to worry about aslong shorty doesn't show pictures. And yes you are reading it correctly. I think once Shorty shows pictures its going to hurt his chances. And shorty sorry if this sounds mean, but how long have you been modeling? If you can deliver a high quality product than sell it, but if you can't why even bother? I just don't think right now you have the skills, but depending on how much you work on them you could make very good intercoolers. I'm all about people starting their own business(since I have already) but please make sure you have experience in what your selling and if you want to stay in it long make sure you offer high quality products for a reasonable price.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say that shorty is also entitled to being treated with atleast some respect regardless of his skills.

PS- I wouldnt buy anything except maybe decals since I cant make those.

I agree. I think some of you are overreacting. We haven't even see pics yet. Let's not criticize thin air, people.

Here we go again...

I'm with Iketani and TheSyndicate on this one, I wouldn't buy the stuff, I remember less than about 2 months ago Shorty didn't even know what an intercooler was ("INNERCOOLER!"). I would rather build my own parts since I have the materials and would rather trust my own handiwork because I know how much effort I put into it.
