2.3L Stroker? That makes no sense. A 4g64 is 2.4L.

Anyways. I turboed my Spyder GS. If you wan't your car to be alot faster for cheap. Then turbo it on stock motor. If your serious about it I can help you out, but if not, then I'm not going to waste my energy typing all of it.

Davib B:
A turbo setup for $600? No way! No less than like $1500 if you do it right. I've got alot more than that, but I've changed mine around multiple times.

He has a 4G64 not a 420A

........ <- You can borrow some periods from me. I've got a lot to spare.

I'm so confused by your post. Are you asking for a parts list? How much? How much boost? Let us know how to do it? Sorry bro it's just not readable.

Re: non turbo question

Some punctuation would be nice yes. But to answer your questions. No you do not need a new ECU, you can use your stock. But you are going to need a piggy back fuel controller such as the Apex'i AFC series.

8psi is nice for a stock motor.

Theres alot of information on how to turbo the 4g64 spyder on www.4g64.150m.com. Also you may wan't to invest in an external wastegate to control your boost better.

If you have any more ????'s let me know.

Ahhh yes, but the procedure would still work the same. I can't seem to find the link though, it's dead.

Re: non turbo question

ok so the reason my posts have been all "unreadable" like you people say is because i have been writing them from my phone. any way yes the things that i need to turbo the car is a parts list because i need o know what to buy. i also need to know if this is safe for the car. i mean just the little shit that i need i can get all the major parts like the exhaust manifold, turbo, innercooler, and piping but what else do i need? another question that came to my mind as i was looking at the engine thinking about do this is what am i going to do about the MAF sensor? what did you do with yours VG? just let me know what i ned to do so that i can get started on this

Re: non turbo question

209whp is a huuuge increase over stock. What were you expecting? If your looking for more than that your either going to have to spend an assload of money or trade it in for something else.

Re: non turbo question

209 is a huge increase but what is that going to do in the 1/4 mile? i am hopeing to get the car to run a low 24 or high 13 that was the goal. can this be done with the turbo set up that we are talking about?

... 209 on a STOCK block, and probably a 14b turbo... build the block, get a nice 20g/50-trim and make power in the 400 range, and run 11's... its a stock block man, stock NON-TURBO internals at 8 psi of boost... what did you expect?

Re: non turbo question

I'll be on the look out. I got some parts you may need also! I got a 2g turbo manifold, and some 450cc turbo injectors, and an Apex'i SAFC 2.
