Re: your single most expensive model?

I have three GMP Cobras, review samples for my model car columns in major magazines...
a red 289 street model,
a yellow Alan Grant USMRRC racer,
and a bruched/unfinished 289 Comp model that's at Shel's office in Vegas to be signed.
Now I have to get the other 2 racers, perhaps with ny own money...

$500 each, YIKES!!!

Re: your single most expensive model?

One of these would be my most expensive. The Enzo comes in at the highest but I still got a good deal from Hong Kong.

Re: your single most expensive model?

Toss up betwen the following (all AA 1/18 )

Evo VI Red ,black white and blue
Evo VI Rally Tommi
Subaru 22b
Subaru Type R
Subaru WRC Richard Burns

WRC 206 & WRC Corolla signed by Didier Auriol & Denis Giraudet
Ford Sierra Cosworth rally signed by Didier only (diff co-driver then)
I got them to sign them when they participated in RallyJamaica.
Denis says Didier has the Cossie in his garage at home.

Re: your single most expensive model?

I spent US$80 on dale jr.'s number 8 bud car last year when i went to florida.

I live in the uk, and to be honest that was the best large amount of money ive spent.

Brilliant detail!

Re: your single most expensive model?

I have 2 cars signed by richard burns, a 1999 WRC night race and a 2001 WRC, i don't know what they are worth because i've never seen another for sale, but that doesnt matter because I will never sell those cars. the 1999 night race non-signed i've seen go for around $500.

other than those, i have a 1/18 BBR enzo, retails around 350, an autoart subaru impreza 22B, 2 autoart tommi makinen evos, a CMC mclaren SLR, and countless other models that push the mid hundreds range.

Re: your single most expensive model?

1/18 - 'MotorMax' Lexus Ls 430 [2002]
**dont laugh, cost of the car ~27$ USD, but shipping sucks for us Canadians, ~27$ USD as well as the current exchange rate...

All in all i paid ~62$ CAD [at the time] A nice model i am a huge fan it is the Pearl White car, very factory similar color. I am currently modifying it.

1/43 - 'Del Prado' Bmw M5 [e34; blue] paid ~30€, with shipping.

Re: your single most expensive model?

My most expensive is the Miura SVR Jota that i just bought. it was $87US.
Next would be the Countach LP5000 QV that i bought in the same order. $83US.
Those 2 were the most expensive only because of the exchange rate recently. Had i bought them when the Canadian dollar was around 90 cents my most expensive would have been my Veyron Concept. It was $100CAN.

Re: your single most expensive model?

AutoArt Limited Mazda 787B. Think I spent about $110 CDN, but I'm pretty sure it's worth more than that. I love this kit.

However I am considering buying SMS's "Jean Todt's FXX" superdetail set to go with my Tamyia FXX, so by the time that FXX is done it will be about $250.
