Re: Main Bearings 96 lincoln towncar

HEY SCK38 ,I just got a free 1993 HONDA DELSO (1-OWNER)
Excellent Cond IN/OUT.

F.O.R.D. - BUT HONDA with water problems.

Action taken:opcorn:
1) Drained about 1 1/2gal of Waste water from Eng bLK.
2) Performed MCGIVER BLOCK WASH,see Reply 3/15/08 at 08:25 Pm.
''Main Bearings 96 lincoln towncar''

* HELL Diesel fuel is over $4.00 per gal,How much is fuel oil?

3) Performed MCGIVER water Pressure Test, and found bad Intake Gasget.

MCGIVER WATER PRESSURE TEST 102.

A) Drain Block wash from block and put drain plug back in.
B) Remove Thermostat.
C) Buy one of those Radiator flush kits and use the right T & clamps for job.
D) Put on flush kit and make sure Radiator cap is on.
E) Connect water Hose.
F) Turn on water with a little water pressure.
G) When the coolant system is full, you will know it!
H) Water will come out of Radiator cap and go into the overflow Resurve tank.
I) Pull that little hose out of Resurve tank and let drain.
J) Let the water pressure stay on (30 minutes).
K) Adjust water pressure - Like a drinking foutain.
L) Look around Intake for leaks while water pressure on.
M) Let run for 30 min.
M) Turn water off.
N) Check Eng Block for water, take out the oil plug.
O) If No water ''OK''

4) JUST Replaced Intake gasket 3/19 @ 04:00

Notes : While Replacing Intake Gasket,I noticed that cylinder 1 intake port and Spark plug
Looked like they were steamed cleaned.

What do you think MCMIKE,do you think it's the head Gasket too?

5) Repeat MCGIVER WATER PRESSURE TEST. PASSED
6) Put a new cheap filter + oil in block. (3quarts only)
Total Cost: $31 dollars
1-gal Fule oil : 4.00
Intake Gasket : 12.00
CHEAP OIL CHK : 15.00

HEY! if this shit don't work,we can go GREEN and convert into Electric.

HEY sck38 - all I need is the Keys.

HEY! What runs on 3 cylinders and runs on Steam?
This Honda Delso, maybe we could turn it into a HYBRID!
GAS/STEAM combo

The last time! I saw a steam Engine was at the Henery Ford Mesium in Dearborn Mich.

7) Repeat MCGIVER block wash.
8) Put a cheap oil filter+oil into BLK.
9) Remove INTAKE,EXHAUST,and working on the HEAD.
10) Remove Head and noticed head gasket is bad Near cylinder 1.
11) Waiting on parts!

KEEP IT REAL AND ONLY on Automotive Forum!

SCK38! There's not enought room in this Honda Delso for all These chicks!
SCK38! There's almost 200 viewers who want to see this show.
CHICKS! They said they never had that many customers in one night.
Junk yard doggie - Man! don't be Fuc ing my car up.
MCGIVER ! Lets get a Red-Neck chick to drive.
I would ask junk yard doggie if we could use his TC ,but by looking he's already lost!
HEY SCK38 ! These chicks are getting HOT!

HEY ! sck38
Got some HEAD parts today!
12) Put New Head,Intake,Exhaust, and valve cover gasket on car.
Total Cost:
$31.00 for previous parts.
$90.00 for Head gasket kit.
$70.00 for New Battery.
Total = $191.00

Car is hitting on all cylinders,no water in Block ,and coolant stays in radiator.

sck38!
sck38!

Took car for a drive and some young man offered 2K for the car.
$1800 GAIN!

I think a 1-OWNER 93 BLK HONDA DELSO with Target top IN VERY GOOD COND is worth around 3K.

I really have to think about it,this car gets alot better gas-miliage than
my TC or JAG.

sck38!

Dustin has an engine that works!

Do you need brakes for a demolition derby?

We need to check with DDDA,see www.wecrash.com for Sched.

There is some good tips under FORD;Crown vics 101

We can sell the GLASS,SRS Air bags,Air suspenshion bags, air pump, and window parts on EBAY to
help cover the beer cost.

sck38!

The engine knocks alittle,I'am sure the other drivers don't care.

Re: Main Bearings 96 lincoln towncar

That's not the best one I have, Although the engine does turn over and the oil looks good. I replaced the dip stick, since the top was melted off and didn't want any water to get in. I'll get that engine running this summer and check it out. The cat's name is Spunkey III he is checking out the damage. The lead dog was driving at the time, I guess she thought it would be easier to run the cat over. See the picture.

Re: Main Bearings 96 lincoln towncar

I've got that Shepard, a Pitt Bull, and a three legged Beagle. The Shepard has taken a liking to that rose wood Town Car, she would live in it if I let her. I have some of those plastic igloos with straw inside for them. It's funny that dog only likes the luxury cars, before that it was an old Deville that she liked to sit in. I haven't seen a pic of scks car. He'll have to post one for us. I wonder how he's doing on that engine project.
