OK, for all of you who put up serious answers, what is preventing you from getting what you want? For me it is mainly the distance.

For me it's, simply not being given the opportunity. I'm educated, 2 degrees, computer literate, yet no one throws me a friggin' bone. I'm determined as the next person, but no chances come my way.

Its hard to get in the door sometimes. I know when we hire, I look for experience first. Not that there arent knowledgable canidates who can be trained, but we need people to contribute "right now" not after they are brought up to speed. As the markets stay highly competative and money is tight, entry level and other positions that require the new hire to be trained are going to be few and far between.

I know its a catch-22 that you cant get a job to get the experience that can land a job.

Exfuckinactly!! Thank you!!

That is also the problem I am experienced. I am trained in pretty much anything to get my foot in. It's that friggin opportunity that I need right now. Good to know someone understands what I'm gettin' at!!

I know what your saying.
I had to sit through interveiws a few weeks back for new staff....what a fuckin joke.

We needed 2 new people. I said it would be better to get new blokes in and give them a charge to impress. GIVE THEM A GO I SAID.

So what do they do.......get 2 drop-kicks that are all ready on the job that are close to retiring and are useless....all because they didn't want to spent 6 weeks training new staff.

For me, its......complicated ....we'll just leave it at that.

alright, edit...ill elaborate a little. It not she doesnt want to date..or whatever you peepz call it...me anymore. She just told me that she's "apprehensive" to commitment and...other...complicated stuff. She said she was like....bored...but not. Maybe Saturn can help me figure out my ex.

I'm right here, Steel. I'm in that boat. My problem sounds remarkably like yours...

My ex and I still love eachother deeply, but I had a bad night one night, and my apprehensions escaped. He's said point-blank that he wishes we could be back together, but that apprehension will never go away. It will eat at "us" little by little. If he had the ability to forgive and forget, he would have never even met me because he would have moved on with his first ex, and never looked twice in my direction...
This is such a downer

What's stopping me? I'm too lazy to go buy some decent food and cook me something decent.

I make up my mind to go to sleep like an hour earlier than the bedtime I set. But then I see something I gotta do or a thread I gotta post at and boom I'm up 2 hours after my bedtime. That and wake up so suddenly that I feel stunned for the first hour after I get up. My internal clock is on Tokyo time. (I live in the US)
