yes both heads are cracked between the valves. I am planning on keeping it for awile, why should I get the block done? I found some heads at a junkyard that are 75 a piece, they are the 93TM heads, they are going to guarantee them for cracks and leaks only.

I am going to buy some used heads from a junkyard and get them machined and put on. Don't think the block machining is necessary because it was not the seal of the gasket that was bad it was the head itself. Besides I don't have the money or time to redo the whole engine. I just want my truck back.
