im pretty sure the icm supplies the power to the coil so if icm is good then i would try to return dist and maybe third times a charm so maybe you got a bad coil other than that everything else that would contradict the spark issue is in the dist worse case icm is the issue when you install new dist try disconnecting battery for 15 min and let the ecu reset itself and that might do the trick
