hey man, thanks. I'm gonna do it first thing in the morning. It seems like you made the instructions very simple. Again, thanks for that. And offering to help me out if you lived in cali means a lot too. Wish me luck...

Talking

yeah, these forums have been so helpful! For now all i have under the hood is an AEM CAI but i want more. I ain't willing to spend a lot for something like a swap, but right now, anything minor will help. minor equals a couple hundred. I found AutoLink Motor Works that is like a couple miles from my house that isn't too big, but they seen to have everything i need. And the cars in the parking lot ain't too bad either. But to answer your question, i've found almost everything i wanted. But any other help would be greatly appeciated.

another thing you can try...go to www.speedoptions.com and check out the section on Featured Shop...most of the shops they feature are in Cali...they have a forum too, but it's not nearly as good as AF.

update on my headlights....

since i first started this post i have since taken out my headlights twice and each time it started off well and then it rains. I know i was supposed to glue it or whatever but since i didn't know what it was i ignored it. Right now its somewhat hot and most of it went away but this problem keeps happening cause i didn't patch it up. Two questions:

1. What kind of stuff do i use? not just regular Elmers glue but what kind of plastic sealing stuff?

2. Where do i find out where the hole or leak is at?

You dont use elmers glue, you use clear silicon sealer. Go to the autoparts store and tell the guy what you're doing.

That's the screw, it's near impossible to find the leak. which is why you have to re-seal it. You pop it in the oven at somewhere between 175-200 degrees, pull the headlight apart, clean out the old sealer with a knife, and put on the new sealer that you bought, put the headlight back together, and hope it worked. OOOORRRRR you could look into a better seal between the headlight housing and the actual headlight bulb. that hole you put the bulb through is a great place for moisture to sneak into, you may wanna try improving the seal around that before baking and resealing your headlight.

my guess is the lil rubber boot that goes around the bulb and is supposed to keep water out of the lens isnt enough, might wanna try your stock headlight boot on there instead, or make something.
