Ideally I would go with the Zero thinner.

But you can use the regular cellulose thinner that is also listed.The basecoat thinner is usually better quality and more suited to thinning top coats lacquers etc.Whereas the cellulose is more for thinning primers etc as it is usually less expensive and not as high quality.

Don't use water though as the Zero stuff isn't water based and it will make a real mess if you thin it with water.

all the decals are finished now ready for a final clear coat and i will polish up after a few days

Jezz--looks great! Can I ask what you used for the smoke on the CF? Tamiya acrylic or enamel or some other brand? and the clear?

i use the tamiya acrylic and zero clear over top

I have done some more work on this one today
All the cf parts are now done and cleared and buffed up

and all cowlings are finished and polished



So far so good no problems yet!!!!!
I was going to cf inside of cowlings but had enough of cf the other parts and ran out of the stuff and im not ordering anymore just yet as i just had a order of stuff from steve at hiroboy (the top studio super detail set for yzr m1 2004 thats for my next projectjust some usless info)

Looking great.The carbon parts came out very nicely and your body panels are beautifully finished.It should look fantastic when it is all assembled.

wife has gone to work kids are up grandparents got some more work done while weather is nice outside

all that is left to do now are the red decals on wheels and a few small engine parts to spary up and heat treat exhausts and i can start putting together
