Welcome to AF!

So far so good. You can see Tamiya's part-sharing at work here, the chassis for this kit is exactly the same as the Calsonic version I'm working on at the moment.

Is the paint finished? Because I can see a bit of the side skirt that didn't completely get covered.

Besides that looks very nice. Better than my first attempt, I can say.

Paintwork looking smooth, but I ve got one little sugestion; It should be better to glue the front bumper to the body already, because otherwise you might get an ugly gap between the two parts.
And for the rest, good luck on the kit!

So far, so good

No it's not finish. The color is Tamiya TS-16. No I did not use primer. For the next coat of paint I'll try to heat the can. And I think i'll glue the front to the body.

I am building the loctite version as we speak and I thought I share with you some tip on the body. First glue all the body parts together because once it is firmly in place you will notice a weird gap between the front bumper and the body. I had to putty it and redo the body line myself. I will post a pic once the primer is dried. other then that the kit is fun to do.

Hey, on the panel lines try this...instead of using black for the lines, how about a darker yellow/orange or even a brown. Just thought of this, havn't tryed it, but it might turn out less "harsh" than using black.

On the 350Z I used 20 Parts Thinners, 3 Parts Yellow, 1 Part, Flat Black, this gives a yellow/greenish colour but seemed to work well, so I have just used it again on my R34 which is also in Yellow.
