Again Mad are you talking a stoplight to stoplight race, if so you should have a slight<make that a point to you not to sleep and I do mean slight advantage from the standstill because of your lighter car plus mods.

If you are highway racing from a roll the VI will kick in and you'll get left behind somewhere in the range of 70-120. All in all though don't you think that you are racing him unfairly if you have mods and he doesn't?

What if he was modded like you, then it would be a fair race and you can say that you honestly won. However you are both Maximas and I'd be more than proud to lose to another Max if I had to lose that's the way I'd rather it be.
Good luck though, don't spin your tires on the take-off and you'll beat him, not by a lot, he'll be right at your door but you'll take him.

I must have missed something before because I'm wondering why you even replied when this was directed to Madmax. Please tell me what I missed?

Also this is just common and fair sense, if you are going to race a similar or same car as yours, wouldn't it only be fair to race one with the same mods, just to make sure no one has an advantage?

hey jbl we can race for fun when i go back to cali in april , ihave prcai , modified stock muffler and soon i'm modifying my intake manifolds and maybe a y pipe , if u think thats too much i understand no disrespect to anybody here , but i wont belive anything till isee it with my own eyes , i think discussion is useless in that matter, peace

That sounds good, I would race you, where in so-cal are you.....
I pretty much race anything that will step on the gas....Raced a Z06 and M5 in my buddies GSR.....not much of a race....but still fun to see what a real car can do.

all i have cosmetic wise is the clear corner blinkers. i have pics but i took them all in high quality so they exceed the 104kb limit on this server. i'll send pics if you want me too though. i can send them to your email, or you can hang on a couple days so i can take some lower definition pics. just picture a 95 black emerald se, with clear corners. cosmetics are my last endeavour with this car. i probably won't get a body kit anyway, don't wanna drill holes in the maxima, but this spring i'm past due for some rims and an inch an half drop
i'll wash it sometime this weekend (s'posed to rain tonight and 2morrow)
and i'll take pics in low qual and post them as is. then i'll post more with the rims and shit sometime in May.
BTW your car LOOKs nice, but that don't make it better and it's definitely not faster (you said yourself i'd own you in a race). i have all the gle options in my car(i.e reverse guages, beige leather, 6 speaker bose), with aftermarket Kenwood 4020 double din cd/tape/cd changer control and 2 cerwin vega 12's in the one box with a SoundSource amp.

oh, well, it's just a difference in opinion...i picked the merlot cause it looks great, imo, and the paint is absolutely flawless and glistens in the sunlight, plus i didn't wanna look like every other car out there with dull, boring colors. i've only seen 2 or 3 Max's total in my color, but about 8 million in sivler or black
