While we are on the topic...
It seems that Matrix Reloaded has been unfortunate for quite a few folk...
Actress/Singer Aaliyah was originally cast in the role of Zee for but was killed in a plane crash on 25 August 2001 (and was replaced by Nona Gaye - the daughter of singer Marvin Gaye) The sequels took so long to finish because several CGI firms went bankrupt while working on rendering the effects. Gloria Foster who played the Oracle in the first film passed away in September 2001 while filming with several scenes still to be shot.
