I'm not sure, my guess is that they will make the decals a certain color depending on the color of the car. Anyone else know?

Hmm, I think all the number dacals are white with black numbers. I don't know about the racing stripes. I would want powder blue with red racing stripes, but no number decal. Mmmm.

Oh my that's a nice car. Was there any truth to them only making one for sale in the 2003 model year?

I heard it was going to be a low production number like 3 or something, and it will be in 2004 not 03. But I doubt they will make only 3 or less. I can see that they just want to test the car's popularity, but make at least 50. I think they will be good sellers and will go down in history as a great American sprts car of the 21st century... If Ford doesn't mess anything up.

Now everybody here knows what can do about cars: Italians, Germans, Americans, Japanese...

But what about Spaniards?

What may do the Spaniards, in the car industry?...

Perhaps, beauties like this:

The history of Hispano Suiza in present times is misterious is necessary do an effort to reach its history.

Here it is:

Creation of HISPANO-SUIZA in 1901 resulting from the meeting between a famous Swiss engineer Marc BIRKIGT and a Spanish banker Damian MATEU.

1911 :
HISPANO-SUIZA forms a company in France for the manufacturing of luxury cars (production will stop in 1936).

1914 :
Entry of HISPANO-SUIZA in the aeronautical world with the design and manufacture of the V-8 aircraft engine (more than 50 000 copies sold).

1919 :
Choice of the famous stork, mythical emblem of the GUYMENER'S Fight victories (on SPAD with HISPANO-SUIZA engines), to represent HISPANO-SUIZA.

In the same fashion BMW appointed in its logo a flag (blue / white), Hispano Suiza Logotype is a Stork. An animal very common in the Spanish churches and villages.

The HISPANO-SUIZA powered SPAD, Symbol of "the pilot aces" of growing aviation during World War, accompanied valorous pilots like the " romantic GUYMENER " on SPAD One and the LA FAYETTE squad on SPAD XIII.

From 1919 to 1936

Grand era of luxury cars for HISPANO-SUIZA.
Long range aircraft raid with HISPANO-SUIZA engines.

From 1945 to 1955

Nene engine manufactured by HISPANO-SUIZA (under Rolls Royce license).

Nene (spanish word, familiar appellative to mention a child) = Little boy

1950 : Manufacture of landing gear.

1951 : Landing gear – activity merged in 1973 within MESSIER-HISPANO-BUGATTI.

From 1955 to 1970

Manufacture of ejection seats (MARTIN BAKER lisence).

3 applications for turbochargers : railway locomotives, naval propulsion and electrical power generation

Manufacture of Turbo-props

1968 : HISPANO-SUIZA becomes a Snecma division.

From 1970 up to now

1998 : Transfer of the power transmissions activities at Colombes.

1999 : Transfer of the "engine controls component manufacturing" and Turbochargers activities from Bois Colombes to the new factory in Bezons.

The lights remember a Maranello but the body a McLaren and the doors an Enzo.

See the doors!

Ups I sorry

The bad news:

Nobody can buy this car, is only a prototype.

The company is in the stock market and it do prototypes each year.

It is obtaining business value, probably to get sold (as always happends with Spanish companies) to a German car manufacturer.

Anyone here have some thousands of millions dollars to buy this company? (joke)
