i'm also a dumb drummer. i've always had a good sense of rhythm and was always tapping and drumming when bored, so i said "what the hell?" and started drumming. just got rid of a really old set and am now in the market for a good new set.

im playing on a Yamaha DTXPRESS electric kit. its alright, quiet, thats what I got it for

I admit they dont sound great but for practicing in my room they work well. and its really fun to play with all the settings

My kit cost about $800 and than I had to get a kick pedal too so that was about another $100
