I thought instead of making mulitple threads about my project I'd just keep this one up to date... Here's pix of both my dash and part of my console with their first complete coat of paint... I wanna put about three complete coats of paint on every piece to insure the color. I've gotta work tomorrow so that takes up one of my days off... however I still think I'll have the dash ready to install by the weekend. Oh, BTW, 1PhatCX, I'll get some pix in the daylight of my sedan's dash glove box hinge... also if ya need anything off of it let me know and I'll cut ya a deal.

Nice choice on colors, i like that you're painting it gloss black, i think that will look sweet! i might do that to touch up my dull black in my car!

my dash vents, gage cluster housing and misc. trim around the door panels are going to be painted bright red. I'm hopefully gonna pick up some paint after I get my paycheck. I'll probably go ahead and install the dash and column once the last coat of paint dries (one today, one tomorrow and one thursday) I'm also gonna start prepping my D15 for transplanting (ami, find that ECU?)

sweet! looks good man! yea i just need pics cuz i dunno if I have the hinges or not, if not i'll get em from the wreckers when i go cuz i still need some stuff. i painted my dash today! did 2 coats and the cans empty lol. stuff dries in 12 minutes or less hehe my dads gettin a digi cam so i'll take pics tonight. hopefully they turn out good cuz its not a high quality camera. i'm not installing my console till i get all the wires run for my stereo also so it'll look weird but u get the gist of it. my brother came out when i was taking all the tape off and stuff and hes like hmm... ricey... i was like yea ur just jelous cuz its better looking than anything u've had lol

What color is the exterior of the car again? just wanna know if it will look good with the black and red! If you have a grey black or red car, it will look SHWEET!

right now the car is a charcoal color... but when I start body work it'll be black primer

I'm going to paint it black when I get my body kit.

awesome! way 2 go dude! i still gotta finish one door panel like put the silver pieces in then vaccum the carpets, dye the headliner, buy seatcovers for now and my interior should b done! i want better pics tho so i'll try tommorow so u get the full effect.
