BTW, I'm in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Not all at once thank god) We just finished with Fnet=ma the other day and now we are onto Newton's Law of Gravitation, has anyone else heard of 6.67x10 to the - 11th? That's new to me. Well, We are learing how to apply it now.

6.67 blah blah is the gravitation constant of the universe. gravity really isn't constant. It depends on masses and the distance between them. For most practical purposes, though, gravity is 9.8 m/s of 32ft/s.
gang$tarr, it's no wonder you hate math and physics. Isaac Newton created calculus to be able to do physics. All the integrals, derivatives, etc... were created by that guy. Also Isaac Newton is the guy who solidified time. He gave seconds, hours and minutes the absolute value they have now. Before him, things happened at: "when the sun is there in the sky" or "the 7th hour."

Hey twist, wanna teach me phsyics and calculus? I already got an understanding but I'm not feeling challenged in some aspects of Math, some I just hate like gan$tarr.

Newton... :zx11pisse I still can't believe he invented calculus to help him in physics (mechanics). And it's also amazing how all his equations can be derived in every conceivable fashion from other equations, and that those equations have equivalents in other aspects of physics (ie: electromagnetism).

Oh yeah, science is cool cuz everything is so logical and works out perfectly. It's amazing how equations can explain so much of the universe. Same thing with math. One may not like these subjects, but one can't argue how amazing they are.
Literature, eh... too much thinking and answers aren't as clear cut (despite what some profs might try to say about the correct interpretation of something). History is also cool. It's like that cliche, fact can be stranger than fiction. This is so true with history. I love learning about all the things that has happened in the past--all the betrayels, schemes, intrigue, and anecdotes. |
