That's what the project RX7 is for... 430hp, 520lbft, 2500lbs.
That's the fast car

Haha, sadly, no V12 monster truck...
I'm working on plans for my shop van, a Ford Aerostar... a legendary southern Californian hotrodder, Boyd Coddington, put a 3.8 liter supercharged Thunderbird engine in his Aerostar, so that's what I want to do. It would be advertisement for my business, show up at the drags, and take out most of the 12+ cars ![]() Another thing I've got on the back burner is the Chevette driving school... 2000 lbs, RWD, 2.5 liter engine, worth maybe $50. I can modify the engines for maybe 150hp with next to no work in them, strip them out, and weld in a roll cage. Take them on the logging roads, and teach people how to DRIVE :hehehe:

Hahaha, that should scare you
![]() The idea is not so much teaching people how to drive, so much as letting them get some nutty rally action done, without caring about the car. If they crash the car, I'm out the roll cage, a chevette shell, which totals about $100 in all. Everything else is salvagable, so I'm pretty happy with that. Soon the back roads will be alive with the throaty rumble of the almighty Chevette! :hehehe:

Dude, coudl you find me a $100 'Vette? My friend and I were looking for one to do some rallying (We got big plans but don't want to ruin his good cars) and If you could track one down in Ontario, that'd be awesome.

Well, the best way to find a 'Vette is to look for them on the street, in driveways etc... with no insurance on them. That's a surefire sign they're for sale, and cheap. Some people will even pay you to get rid of them
![]() Chevette hunting has to be done locally, I'm afraid... people generally don't put $100 Chevettes in the paper or the Buy&Sell.

Not enough, sadly
![]() They started building the Carrera GT in 1980, based off of the 924 Turbo. Basically a 924 Turbo with a fender flares and larger tires, an intercooler, and 210hp. The rest of the car, suspension, wheels, etc were all upgraded too... If those front fenders look familiar, it's because they were the prototype fenders for the 944.
