Arrow hey people...

For those of u confused or falsely informed... this is a Toyota Altezza (aka Lexus IS in the US). it IS an inline 4 and it pushes out exactly 564bhp. as for the HUGE rear wing...it doenst bother me since it is IN FACT a rear wheel drive car so it does have a PURPOSE. the body is 100% ENTIRELY carbon fiber (except of course for the head/taillights) incase ur wonderin...i have been watchin this car VERY carefully since it was first produced thatz y i know all about it.... beautiful and extremely powerful machine.

:jump:

PS- i hope i didnt offend anyone...i wasnt tryin to! :o)

hey, the motor is not a GT3037s that is the turbo. the motor is a 3S-GTE it has a 2.2 liter kit, and i heard some where that with the GT3037 turbo it can have 800hp. hks is the best i love their R33 drag skyline it ran 4.8s in the 1/4 and american top-fuel drag cars run 4.5 or so! i saw the video of it. their drag supra ran about a 8.6 sec 1/4. i want to see hks tune a 95 porsche 911 biturbo i think that would make one fast car. am i not right?! and if any one finds any new picks of it please post them ive got a collection of em'. well the car is nuthing but great and thats all that counts.

That car owns me. I wonder how much it would cost to get a custom molded CF body for my car it's not worth it for a civic, but it would still be cool.

Nope..its a 3S-GTE, from the J-Spec Turbo MR-2/Celica GT-FOUR. It produces around 600bhp, and was made to race once, and only once at some japanese circuit of whose name escapes me..

i dont know where you are getting your information from but from the april 2001 issue of superstreet, they specifically say that the engine is a 2.0L 3S-GE stroked to 2.2L and the turbo is an HKS GT30307S ball bearing turbo. it was made to break the circuit record at Tsukuba in Japan. here is a small article on it: http://www.superstreetonline.com/edi...=text&id=90624

here's another:http://www.roadandtrack.com/features...p?articleID=97

Being a passenger in that car is a religious experience :smoka: because you can sit on top of the differential and watch the suspension at work, :smoka: and a driveshaft spinning real fast betweeen your ankles!:smoka:

the 3s-ge engine didnt even come with 2.0L it was 2.2L... the 3sgte came with 2.0L to handle more boost... and also i wonder why they didnt just use an mr2... the mr2 is a mid engine 2 seater.. giving it better wieght distribution and also making it easier because it is already a 2 door... it is also a rwd car like the altezza and to me it looks more aroedynamic lol
