Really? Wow, I guess I will be sanding it down.

When I paint interior car parts. I wait a good hour in between painting. It all turns out just fine then. I dont see why plastic models would be any different.


Why is it better to wait 10 minutes? After the first coat, it still looked like it had a textured finish.

It's just the way it is! The paint is still tacky, but dry enough not to run after 10 mins!
Any later and you destroy the outer skin of paint that is starting to dry I guess!
Best results are 1 coat every 24 hours! You get a great shine that way as you don't affect the coat previous! It is fully dry!
