i doubt they even have kit engineers there anymore. they fired them all a couple of years ago after they made all of the body's currently on sale. then the other guys take said bodies, add some colorful box art, a shiny new decal sheet and voila! what they think is a shockingly brand new kit. THINK AGAIN FUJIMI!!

is this true??? or a joke? anyway the management there was really bullshit and try to cheat our $$, thanks to 1999.co.jp and aoshima-bk.co.jp showing the details inside the box.

I really hope AOSHIMA take over fujimi business......

hirofkd, are those model company: Fujimi, Aoshima or Tamiya list on Japan Stock Exchange??? if it does, I really want to know what stock price they currrently doing.

This seems like a get rich quick project IMO.
Fujimi seem to do this with most of there kits now....use the same mold but throw a different colour plastic in the mold and some different decals.
You only have to look at the EVO's and Altezza's to see what they are up to

They aren't even qualified to be listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange, so the only way to check the price is to visit a local office of securities, to check if they are for sale. If, it's not for sale, you don't know the price.
After all, fujimi is a company of only 9 people, and releasing that many rebox a year is simply an amazing work by itself.
No one like to release a rebox, but it's their corporate philosophy of allowing compromise. Tamiya does, with a clear, yellow and chrome versions, and so is Aoshima with some wheel variations.
Just write to them. They don't reply to individual mails, but they read and listen.
BTW, I don't think Fujimi can afford a full time designer, but probably outsourcing it. So, the outside contractor gets the money.

yeah for anyone who took my post seriously, it WAS a joke. but i doubt if it's far from the truth. most of their kits (especially the Altezza's, Evo's and S15's) are just a different color with a different decal sheet. i mean, an East Bear S15 without even aftermarket wheels??? gimme a break...does anyone have any in-box pictures of the new Sard Altezza?? on the box art it has a pretty wild body kit, and they can't honestly tell me that put that on the box and not include a nice kit inside it.

I put one on order a while back, so I'll let you guys know. Damn, I hope Fujimi put's the bodykit in it, if you look at the G'Spice it has a bodykit on the box, but you don't get it with the kit!

the G'Spice one did have a body kit on the boxart...but it's not nearly as extreme as the body kit on the Sard one. when i bought the HKS Kansai Altezza, the one on the box had the factory body kit, which is what's included with every single Altezza kit, so i wasn't too dissappointed. hopefully the Sard one is good. let us know Malcolm!

SARD one is priced at 2800 yen. Quite expensive for what? 2 year old model, and the Explosion Altezza does have a body kit, and it was released at almost the same time, and the price was also 2800 yen. Plus, both of them were dropped from 2003 catalogue, so they must be limited releases. So, I assume the SARD one has a body kit.

Explosion Altezza, which has some kind parts bag with a red tab.
