Re: Re: NEW or OLD

Hi guys I also loved the 504 when I was a schoolboy but we could never have afforded a car like that then - we only had a mini
But I always wanted one still and only last month I have bought a 1977 504 L
It is in perfect condition and only has 40,000 miles on the clock

I would love to post some pictures of it but the process on this site is very complicated

You just need to get used to it. Read the F.A.Q for more information about posting, attaching images and so on.

The process is indeed very stupid (sorry moderators ), and not practical !

A 504 L ! My father had the same at the end of the 70's. Post pictures !

The only reference in FAQ in relation to uploading photos is in
the "What are attachments" part or user maintainance. It proceeds to tell us what attachments are and all we need to do is to press the "Browse" button at the end of the post composition and select the photo from my hard drive.
Problem is as hard as I have looked I have not seen any browse button

Here are some pics of my 504 - isnt it great that somebody kept this car in such good condition so that I could fulfill my youthful fantasy - its even in my favourite colour
Check out those lovely wheels with the chrome hubcaps

I am still having some difficulty posting pictures so please bear with me
Here are some more of my 504

I know they are not such good photos - and I have no close ups of the front of the car but I am waiting for a nice day to take some good photos

W O W ! Unbeliavable condition! Look at that colour! I am happy for you man! Here in Greece it's impossible to find such an old car looking like that.. unless it's very expensive like a Ferrari or something..Unfortunately ''common'' cars like that are neglected unlike the UK where I know you can find virtually anything in as new condition if you look hard enough.. you people over there have respect even for a 504!
