Re: New Aston martin for Under 100K

BIG DEAL!

Yes Aston Martin will not be as exclusive as it once was. Those great days in the 80's when they barely produced 10 cars in a month will be sorely missed. :P

5,000 cars per year is still less than Ferrari and they are still considered pretty exclusive.

It is certainly no BIG DEAL! It's just an interesting sign of the times and how a big company like Ford see the place of AM in the world sportscar market.
...and Ferrari always make less than 5000 a year - about 4200 to 4500

Ford may bankroll Aston Martin but they pretty much still run themselves.

Maybe they should take your idea of being more exclusive, at least then they won't sell enough cars to stay in business and then there will be no more Aston Martin.....exclusivity achieved, lol

Funny, that is one way to stay exclusive.

Please take time to read the whole thread and not just the last post of the thread ..... Yes they would be hopeless without Ford AND the price to pay is reduced exclusivity. Simple really.

It's all about moving with the times, it's exclusivity may be reduced, but it's still exclusive.......
