that is tamyia putty. It fixes the kit on more solidly than glue alone and also fills in any gaps due to me cutting in the wrong place

Underside of car now completed just have to give the body another coat of primer and then begin on the metallic red body clolour.

One quick question: "should the rear wing remain white or also be painted red?"

it needs a new exhaust! the current one is a little bit rusty! nice work on the weathering, looks brilliant!

exterior progress

here is the first shot of the "almost finished painting" exterior test fit on the chassis.

So far so good

Looks nice but you need to drop it and put bigger rims on it. Other than that it nice

I have not lowered a car yet so I'll wait and see what it looks like on a larger set of rims (the second set that came with the tamiya Porshe Boxster). Hopefully these will look "right" until the AVS model 5's arrive cos I don't want to lowwer it until then.

Currently watching paint dry and its xmas day here tomorrow so won't get any work done or photos done for a couple of days.
