OK, obviously listening isn't our strong point so I have gone through your posts and fixed the [ quote ] things to read [ / quote ] so your posts will be more readable.

Ok,first of all,how I post has nothing to do with this thread. What I do is click on Quote and copy n paste the quote in the space provided.

Quote:
The rear view mirror did not drop because in early nineties Sentras the rear-view is not glued to the windshield but is supported by a bracket in the headliner. Rather, it was the passenger-side sun visor that dropped. The visor had never been loose and was easily popped back in. Considering I was rear-ended in a 1991 Sentra with 170,000 miles, at a speed between 15-20mph, I think I fared rather well. The only damage was scratching on the bumper (from the other guy's broken headlights and grille), a trunk latch that needed a slight adjustment, and the dislocated but easily replaced visor. The other car, a 1989 Hyundai Excel, had a dented bumper, broken headlights, broken grille, hood that would no longer shut, and a broken backseat.

Well now that you mention how old it was then thats now understood by me why the visor fell out.

Quote:
It's frankly ridiculous to compare a $40,000 - $50,000 Cadillac to a Sentra. The cars are completely incompatible in price, class, size, and weight.

I dont know where you got the idea that anybody was comparing a Sentra to a Cadillac. But nobody was.

Regarding the Lexus rearending a car at a traffic light, then being rearended himself (and that transfer of energy having the same effect as if he rearended the car in front again)...well that would explain his car not starting, now wouldn't it? You implied before that he had only been struck in the rear, which wasn't entirely accurate.

Well my friends front end got hit.And so dit the Lexus front end. Both did about the same damage from what I had seen.So that doesnt explain why his wouldnt start. When I had implied that the Lexus had only been stuck in the rear I had corrected myself in a later post so it was accurate.

You have chosen the wrong way of coming back- creating an Alter-ego is a no-no on AF- FIRST you must tell the mods that you want to come back to AF and convince them that you have changed your tune- then it gets taken from there.

However if you voice an apoligy to me, Moppie, crayzayjay and the rest of AF as a whole- then I would be convinced of an attitude change

And I feel that it wasnt only me that was at fault so until I get a apology from one of you Im not gonna apologize to anyone.I also feel that I don't need to apologize to someone I don't know but will if one of you apologize to me first.

With all this p**sing back and forth and you'd have thought someone would realize that the Lexus was supposed to shut down in an accident. There is a kill switch that shuts off the fuel pump in case of a collision to prevent fuel from causing a major fire. If the Caddy didn't shut down it means that it either is not fuel injected (thus no electric fuel pump) or that the shutoff wasn't working properly. In any case it was not poor craftsmanship of the Lexus that caused this, the Caddy, maybe.

Actually Jimmy mentioned that back on page 1. I don't blame you for reading the whole thread, though. Regardless, I agree, a fuel-shutoff featuer in case of accident is a potential lifesaver, and a worthwhile feature, not an example of poor quality.

Sorry, I missed that. I looked to see if it was mentioned and must have overlooked it. They really need to quit copying the entire post they are replying to, it makes it very hard to read. Don't mean to put anybody out. Just a short clip would be better tho.

Yeah, I know. That's why I quote the specific part I'm talking about and put a handy "..." at the beginning and end of it.

BTW, you should have seen this thread back before I edited WakkaWu's posts...instead of quoting he would just copy their stuff and start typing in the middle of it, it was darn near impossible to read.

He's banned now anyhow.

BTW, welcome to AF!
