it might be a better idea to me if the funnel coming from the fender covered up the entire fender. as it is, most of the air is still coming from the under the hood since that funnel thing only cover about half the filter. the filter has no reason to suck air out of that hose in my opinion. the whole disrupted air thing shouldnt be too much of a problem since the air still has to go through the filter, which im sure doesnt contribute to a smooth airflow. on a lighter note, though, it is painted to match the car. good job

No, you're right, it does look like shit - you should have seen it before I painted it. The other end - that you can't see - is molded (bent) to fit the size of the left grill.
I'm sure with a better tube and filtering system, it might work out pretty good for some of you. Just a thought. did I mention its under $60? j/k -wheel

what would happen if you put another cone over the intake and connected it. ? better air flow? forced air?
