Re: CRX front bumper on a Civic?

The bumper does fit but needs work to fit. The bumper suuport needs to switched from the civic to crx bumper. Holes need to be drilled & tapped. Way too much wasted time IMO when I can get a New civic bumper for $60. The Civic bumpers look better any way.

wait, wait, wait you thought about putting a crx rear seat into your 4 door? You impress me more every day .

Oh, it gets better. just wait and see.

Only reason for it was that I had originally planned on making a fibreglass back seat bucket anyway, so it would have been easier to find the CRX plastic seat and just mould it in there w/ brackets to take it back out if necessary... but alas, I've decided to use the prelude backseat, since it's the same color as the front seats are now.

Re: CRX front bumper on a Civic?

I race a CRX in NASCAR and a friend told me when I was needing new fenders that the civic fender would fit ,but I found that the side lights are differant which was ok for me cause I dont run lights .but for a street car I dont think they will work.I dont remember if this interferes with the bumper cover or not though.
