I would say that they are made out of clear styrene plastic...correct me if I am wrong of course....

I mean how to get the dimensions exact? Curvature etc?

Getting the 2D dimension is easy. I used the cut-off headlight cover and trace the shape on a piece of thick clear acetate (clear plastic sheet like transparency but thicker).

Curvature is a problem, that's why mine is flat. You could get the curvature using heatform / vacuform and the cover as the mold. I've tried heatform using those special clear plastic used for plastic canopies, the result's not that great. It's too thin due to the stretching. Maybe I'll try again later.

did you paint it or did you leave it the color that the body came or did you repaint it? if you repainted who makes that color?
