i gotta disagree with ya DeViL...

Riding a bike is so much more fun than driving*, I know in a car you're feet and hads are busy. But on a bike your entire body is working. Plus the sound of the wind, the motor is so pure and right there in your face. Nothing beats it. Plus you've only got 1 chance when racing a bike, you mess up and crash you're most likely done for the day. In a car you're protected and will most likely come out of a car crash far better than bike crash.

Take it from me, I broke my shoulder having fun.

*Dont get me wrong I love driving period, its fun as hell. But I like bikes more in the twisties.

.

I'm sure it would be fun riding a bike, I'd like to ride one, but then again, I also have more fear that I would injure myself while doing it. I realize that you are much less protected when on a bike, hell I rode bicycles when I was a kid, naturally I scraped myself a few times. But I can't imagine what it would be like falling off a bike going around 60mph.

What I really can't stand watching is bikes drag racing. They're fast as hell everyone knows that, pop a wheelie, no problem, its just too boring for me to watch. Now watching a car with a ton of power, lifting up the front end, thats exciting to me.

Well, I do see your point. Watching a car do a wheel stand is very cool.

hehe, a 60mph crash is nothing. I have hit a javelina (basically an arizona warthog) on my old GSX1100r at ~95 and came away with just a broken ankle and some a couple bruises. My poor R6 has been down so many times it is sad to even think of the resell value, it is my track bike so I don't really worry though. A 60mph crash is basically nothing at all if you are protected right.

Going through the airport security is always fun when you have a metal plate in your elbow.

Oh, and if you think racing a car is fun when you hear the wheels screaming for traction, imagine the same feeling but it is your knee slider that is screaming and you get to look down (if you have the balls) and watch your knee slider making sparks from the concrete going around a turn.

rush? i think so.
