Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

Looking good. Out of interest, are you going to apply Firestone decals to both sides of the tyre wall?

Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

Hi there all, this project is really dragging on now, thanks to my work being so busy. This shows that the body has been painted, polished and decals applied. It has since been polished again. It is so close to being finished and I cant wait, more projects to get on with.
Bill - no, I'm not having the logos on both sides of the tyres. Basically I didn't like the look of the logos on the wheels, maybe it was decal, but I decided I liked the look without them.

Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

Very nice build if you wanted to its not to late to get HRM engine kit. Keep up the clean build

This was Novembers meeting at MAMA's in Maryland. Harold had one on display
they are ready to order. Stradasports or Island Collectible should have them
in stock.

Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

I still have one on order from Strada. Don't think it is in just yet. When it gets here, I will post some pics in a review. Also got the 71 917K tail from Renaissance. Hopefully soon. I'm really wondering how it compares to the MFH kit engines. I have two of the MFH kits, but not the coupe as mine are the spyder and the 412.

From what I have seen, MFH is superior, but not by much.

Hello Nic
You will not be disappointed with HRM's 330 eng kit all you will need is the interior from Renaissance so that the car will be correct. HRM's eng for the Porsche 917K and the GT40 are also really nice.

The body is really beautiful. This model will look superb when finished, no doubt about it.

Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

Thanks for watching people, I don't know where the 4 stars came from, but it certainly wasn't worth it.
Here is a final pic before finishing, only a couple of parts to go now.
And thus concludes my first WIP on AF.

Who are you trying to kid! Thoroughly deserved in my opinion, what a way to introduce yourself. The car looks beautiful. So whats next?

Re: Ferrari 330 P4...

Nic: I ordered the 330P4 but I got the spider, other was OOP....

The 412 shouldn't (I mean the real stuff, I don't own -yet- the model so I can't compare) be so different from the 330P4: was just another way to register the car used by clients (4 lt. 12 cyl.) when the official P3 was updated to P4. For what I know the 412 should have weber carbs insthead P3/4's mec. ignition.

Kane: superb finishing job you done friend.

Dunno know if someone seen how Kamimura done with his 1/43 330P4 stuff, mainly speaking of PE rear vents...
