There is more to a car than its 1/4 mile times. The Ferrari is still the best.

Only a fool, or someone that can't afford the Ferrari, or an Asian person would buy the Supra.

Well no shit...that wasn't the point at all. The f355 has CLASS and will rape a supra on a track. Yeh see, the thing is you can get an NA supra with a shitload of miles for like $12,000 and throw a JDM 2jzgte for like $3,000. The cheapest of the cheap f355s are like $75,000 and ferraries aren't too reliable with high mileage. Maintaining it is also a bitch. I would have to drive 2 hours to orlando so a ferrari tech could do maintenence on my car. It's a hassle that I'm not even sure I'd be willing to go through.

Well, yeah...but it's not even that. I inherited a lot of money from my great grandpa...waaaay more then enough to buy an f355 for my first car BUT I don't want a hassle. I'm getting an NSX probably with a downforce.biz gt1 kit and a bunch of mods. I could get the ferrari...but screw it. It's not all that fast, parts are nearly impossible to find and an NSX handles better.

I'd preffer the NSX's aluminum body to a Supra, much much better car all around.

spending 100,000 bucks on a Ferrari is worthless if u want a fast fast car. If u have that kinda money soop up a Supra TT with the 100g. im pretty sure if ANY TT Supra owner had 100g to spend on, they wuld burn those Ferraris like candy

Yes, it would BUT a Supra withh 100g's under the hood would have like 2,000 HP and would be nowhere near streetable. Ferrari's are fast and some are really fast. Almost all of them handle VERY well. The big thing about Ferrari's is they have A LOT more class then most cars. They're also a big attention grabber.

If you can afford a (nice) Ferrari, honestly, if it's not as fast a Supra.

Denso Supra, i agree. if u have a Japan's modded Supra, not jus for drag, but those serious racing races, im pretty sure a Supra could beat a Ferrari.

That would all depend on the driver. The SCCA has a division for Ferrari's and cars like that and there are Supras racing in that class but I'm sure they're HIGHLY modified. Then again, with some coilovers and good tires, the Supra can pull more then 1g on the skidpad which is pretty damn good.

Supra and Ferrari

Having driven a number of Ferraris including the Testarosa's and mkiii and iv Supras I can safely say that the mkiv Supra is far superior. The inline 6 engine with sequential twin turbos can easily take most Ferraris (excluding the f1 and f50) at the mid to high end with £1000 mods (thats $1500 to you yanks), This is achieved because of the second sequential turbo kicking in which means boost at high end which is rare.
The handling on the ferraris is good as there is good feed back and super low suspension, having said that the Supra can hold the track impressively.

The Supra (as any Supra driver knows) is a drivers car, the Ferrari is a newbie drivers car who wants to be a driver or for the older gentlemen trying to get those young blonds in the passengers seat and making a complete ass of themselves. I can honestly say that you get much more respect with a Supra than with a Red.

A properly modified Supra will handle better then any ferrari including the Enzo and F50. You can then also modify the Enzo and F50 to handle better then the Supra. Well...at least as far as the skidpad goes. Supra's don't come with sequential turbos. The only car I can even think of that does is a 3rd gen RX7.

i think i take a Supra over the Ferrari in my garage. jus becuase i like Imports. and with $250,000, i'd buy a Supra, and modify it and kill those ferrari's. but wut r the chances of ME seeing a Ferrari where i live. i see more Porsches then Supras.
